Energy & Environmental Advisory Committee

The Energy and Environment Advisory Committee was established by the Derry Town Council in August of 2009, for the purpose of serving as an advisory committee to the Town Council, overseeing the Green Vehicles/Green Buildings Initiative, as well as educating and working with residents; town business owners; and town staff, committees, and boards on clean energy issues such as clean energy upgrades, jobs, and policies as well as environmental concerns and policies.

Members of the public or business community with questions, concerns, or who are seeking assistance with any of these or related issues are encouraged to contact any board member or attend one of the committee’s monthly meetings and the committee will be happy to assist you. The board members can be emailed by clicking here.

The board consists of 5 Residents of Derry to serve as Members and 2 as Alternates Members (all to be appointed by the Derry Town Council), one Town Council Liaison, and the Town Administrator or his/her designee.
