BRADY AVE, DERRY NH
2017 WATER & SEWER PROJECT
DATE: August 25, 2017

Construction has begun on the Brady Ave. water and sewer utility project.  This is a joint project between the Derry DPW and Pennichuck Water Works (PWW).  American Excavating Corp. of Derry is the Contractor.  The anticipated project schedule will occur in 2 phases over two construction seasons. The first phase will be done this year and will include water and sewer construction from Rockingham Road up to and including house # 18 Brady Ave.  (approximately 1400 ft.). This work includes sewer service connections to the property lines. Base coat paving will be completed prior to this winter.

Blasting for ledge is beginning this week. Residents who will be impacted have been contacted by the blasting company to conduct a pre-blast survey of their property.  Permits for this work have been issued by the Derry Fire Dept. Concurrently a temporary water line above ground will be installed to maintain water service to PWW’s customers while the new water and sewer pipes are being installed. PWW is coordinating this work.

Beginning next spring, we will continue the sewer and water construction from house #18 to house #51 for the sewer and to Berry Road for the water.

Every effort will be made to maintain the road in decent passable condition but there will be inconveniences to the residents. The Town will have inspectors on site and residents are encouraged to reach out to them (white hats) or to contact our office with any problems, concerns or questions.

Please know that the Town will make every effort to minimize the disruption to the residents and address issues and answer questions in an expedient manner. Your patience and understanding over the coming months will be most appreciated.

As always, please feel free to contact our office at 603-432-6144 with any questions or concerns you may have. Questions regarding water services should be directed to Pennichuck Water Works at 603-882-5191
