MTBE Update - May 2017

May 2017:  The mainline water main and services are fully installed and pressure tested on Frost Road, Lawrence Road, Stark Road and Blunt Drive.  Base course paving is complete on Frost Rd., Blunt Dr. and Lawrence Rd.   A full road reclamation will be done by the Derry DPW’s paving contractor on Stark Road and is scheduled for middle to late June to allow proper compaction and settlement of the trenches.

Additional work along westerly end of Gervaise Drive, including the boring of a water main under the drainage culverts and the installation of a pressure reducing valve, will be done in June as well.

Meanwhile, water line construction is continuing along Route 28.

The anticipated substantial completion date is October 2017.
