The following contact information includes various groups and organizations within the Town of Derry. The Derry Parks & Recreation Department is proud to sponsor many events that these organizations offer including the 5K Turkey Trot, the Young Athletes Program, and the Winter LAX clinic. Please keep in mind that although some of these organizations may use the Department's fields and facilities, they are not Parks & Recreation sponsored organizations. Derry Boys Youth LacrosseContact information available on the website.The Derry Youth Lacrosse Association is part of the New Hampshire Youth Lacrosse Association and is open to children between the ages of 5 and 15. Practices are held 2 - 3 times per week with games normally on Sundays.

The Derry Demons will  field teams from Flag to U11 in accordance with our partnership with the Wolverines. Derry Wolverines Football & CheerContact information available on the website.The Wolverines Football and Spirit organization is part of the NH Senior Football League. Boys and girls in grades 5 through 8 are eligible to participate in this program.

General Information

The Derry Soccer Club is made up of the travel Derry Eagles, and the in-town recreational Derry Hawks programs. Derry Hawks focus on soccer fundamentals, good sportsmanship, and fun. Games are played on Saturdays at Don Ball Park during the fall and spring seasons. Derry Eagles players are required to tryout, and include travel to other locations for games. Typically teams have two practices per week in addition to games on the weekends.
Greater Derry Track Club

The GDTC is a non-profit charitable organization formed to promote running in the Derry area. The club generally has approximately 85 - 100 members between the ages of 7 and 75, each with different running abilities.
Pathfinders Snowmobile ClubEmailThe Derry Pathfinders Club is a member of the NH Snowmobile Association. Generally the club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month (September - April) at the Alexander-Carr Lodge. Contact the pathfinders if you are interested in attending.

The BSA’s goal is to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities and educational programs. There are multiple local opportunities for both boys and girls, as young as age 5 and up to 17. Call or email to find a troop near you.

Red Star TwirlersGina Hutchinson @ 432-9116The World Champion Red Star Twirlers have twirled at many large events including Boston Celtics games, for Radio Disney, Carnival Cruise lines, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and many more! Practices are held year-round at Veteran's Hall, with a special summer program in July and August. Both recreational and competitive programs are available!
Special Olympics New HampshireFor info. call  624-1250Special Olympics New Hampshire provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. These individuals are given continued opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
