Fordway - Upcoming DELAYS

SUBJECT:     Water Main Replacement and Road Construction

This notice is to inform residents, the Town of Derry is planning to replace the existing water main from Transfer Lane to Kendall Pond Road. 

This work will be performed by American Excavating Corp.  They will be mobilizing material and equipment next week and shall be accessing individual properties to connect a temporary water system, which will be used throughout the project.  They will need access to review sill cocks and existing plumbing configurations to evaluate if any plumbing modifications shall be required for connection to the temporary water system.  Any plumbing changes shall be at the Town Contractor’s expense.  

This process may impose a minor delay upon entering and exiting the roadway and individual properties, but the road will not be closed to residents.

On street parking will not be allowed during construction activity which is typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
