The Derry Supervisors of the Checklist will meet in session on January 23 in advance of the March 12 municipal elections
to register new voters and update the names and addresses of registered voters.
This session will be held in conjunction with the New Hampshire Presidential Primary on January 23rd
from 7am - 8pm at the Hackler Field House at Pinkerton Academy. Registration and voting for the Presidential Primary will also be underway.

Residents who need to register to vote must come to Registration
. Voters already on the checklist can update their name and address with the Ballot Clerks as they check in to vote.

The filing period for Town of Derry and Derry Cooperative
School District office begins January 24.
Candidates must be registered in the district they run in.
*** The January 23 Supervisors Session is the last opportunity for candidates to be added to the
checklist or update their address before the filing period begins.

The Derry Cooperative School District deliberative session is February 3
at 10am at West Running Brook Middle School.
***

The January 23 Supervisors session is the last opportunity for residents to be added to the checklist for the deliberative session.

Check Your Registration. The Supervisors encourage voters to verify their registration is active and to check what their party affiliation
is before the primary. The easiest way is via the Secretary of State’s
online app: app.sos.nh.gov. The checklist is posted at the Derry Municipal Center and Derry Public Library. It will be posted at the SAU office for the school district election.

The 10-year-verification of the checklist in 2021 removed voters who hadn’t voted in the previous 4 years and
who did not respond to official notice of removal. If your registration is not active, come to Registration
on January 23 to re-register.

Party affiliation determines which party’s primary a voter can participate in. Voters in a party
receive that party’s ballot. Voters who are Undeclared can choose. Choosing changes the
Undeclared voter to that party. Unless the voter requests to change to Undeclared after voting, the voter remains in the party
they affiliated with. The last day to change party affiliation was October 6. While party affiliation can’t be changed for this primary, checking
ahead of the time will allow you to plan accordingly.
