Robert Frost / Old Stagecoach Scenic Byway
Scenic Byways are roads recognized for their outstanding archeological, cultural, historic, natural, recreational and scenic qualities. New Hampshire has 16 Byways, and one of them, the Robert Frost/Old Stage Coach Scenic Byway travels through Derry. This very important cultural and economic development resource was recognized by the State of New Hampshire in May of 2014. The designation highlights the importance of the beauty and scenic vistas, heritage, natural areas and recreational opportunities available along the Byway. For a more detailed description of the Byway and its 44 mile route, please visit the Byway Website. The RFOSC Byway Council is always looking for new members - for more information about this volunteer opportunity - take a look at this short video, explaining the four Byways in our area of NH, and what would be involved.
