BC Sebastian began his career with the Derry Fire Department in 2001 as a firefighter Advanced-EMT, promoted to Lieutenant in 2018, and promoted to Captain in March 2023. He is one of 19 in the State of NH to receive the prestigious Fire officer Designation (FO) from the Center for Public Safety Excellence – Commission on Professional Credentialing.  Ron previously managed the Department's quartermaster program. Previously he has served on the regional Hazmat team and our department's EMS CQI Committee.

BC Sebastian is a past President of IAFF Local #4392 – United Professional Firefighters of Derry and is active in the community. BC Sebastian currently serves as a Commission Member of the NH Fire Standards and Training Commission representing the PFFNH and 1700 professional career firefighters.

BC Sebastian holds an associate degree in Fire Science and a bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration.

BC Sebastian lives in Weare with his wife Amy and their children Lilly and Emma.
