Charles (Chuck) Tinkham currently serves as the Dispatch Supervisor.  As Dispatch Supervisor - he is responsible for Communications personnel, program development, and leadership of the Fire Department Communications Center.  Supervisor Tinkham also serves as a shift dispatcher.

Supervisor Tinkham grew up in Derry, New Hampshire, and is a 1995 graduate of Pinkerton Academy.  In July 1996 he enlisted in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout.  In November 1999, as a member of the 3rd Squadron, 7th U.S. Cavalry, he deployed to Kuwait as part of Operation Desert Spring where he was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for his service.  He was Honorably Discharged from the Army in April 2001.

Supervisor Tinkham started his career with the Derry Fire Department as a Dispatcher in 2002. He serves as the Data Management Coordinator for the Communications Division.  Supervisor Tinkham was the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Atlantic Chapter “Dispatcher of the Year” for 2015.  Supervisor Tinkham was promoted to Dispatch Supervisor in July 2017.
