The shift is Commanded by a Battalion Chief, a Captain on each Battalion, and a Lieutenant at each station. Each station is also staffed with a firefighter/EMT and a firefighter/paramedic.

In addition to emergency work, Operations Division members provide a wide range of services to the community including blood-pressure screening, tours of fire stations and apparatus, and fire and life safety presentations within the community.
