Don Ball Park Rules & Regulations
The Don Ball Park Playground & SplashPad is located at 14 Humphrey Road in Derry, NH 03038. Operating hours are seasonal and weather permitting. For more information please contact the Recreation Office at (603) 432-6136
- All children must have adult supervision at all times. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Swim suits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
- Grills of all kinds are not permitted at Don Ball Park.
- All parties and gatherings must be scheduled through the Recreation Office by calling (603) 432-6136
- No Popup tents or umbrellas.
- Footwear/sandals are strongly recommended.
- Walking is required on the splashpad.
- All participants must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe, and family-orientated manner.
- Food and/or beverages of any kind are not allowed on the Splashpad.
- No glass containers or breakable objects.
- No skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, and/or scooters are allowed on the Splashpad or through the park.
- Dogs/pets are not allowed on the Splashpad, Playground areas, fields, and/or throughout the park.
- Do not climb, hang, swing, or pull on any of the Splashpad equipment
- The SplashPad and playground equipment is meant for people only. Please leave the following items at home or in your vehicle: Including but not limited to remote control cars, bubbles, athletic equipment, balls, bats, beach balls, noodles, water balloons, water toys, water guns, etc.
- Anyone requiring a diaper must wear a swim diaper if using the splashpad.
- All private and public groups of 10 or more and/or individuals wishing to host a Party/Gathering at the park must preregister with the Derry Parks & Recreation Department for more information call (603) 432-6136
- Please vacate the park when conditions call for thunder or lightning. The Park & Splashpad may close if weather conditions become unsafe.
The Town of Derry reserves the right to remove a participant/spectator from the park for violating any of the above rules or engaging in illegal, disruptive, destructive, or inappropriate behavior. If you are at the park and need assistance please visit the concession stand and seek the assistance of a Recreation Employee. If an employee is not available please contact the Recreation Office at (603) 432-6136 to report your concerns.
