Facility Includes: Concession, bathrooms, changing area, sandy beach area, parking, fishing dock, & picnic tables. This facility is a seasonal location and generally open from Fathers Day Weekend until Pinkerton Academy is back in Session in late August.
Summer Beach passes will only be available for purchase at the Recreation office located at: Veteran’s Hall, 31 West Broadway, Derry, NH 03038 between Monday- Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm

To assist with this change, passes will also be sold on the following dates, locations and hours:
  • Wednesday, May 22nd Veterans Hall from 7:00am- 7:00pm
  • Saturday, June 15th at Galliens Town Beach from 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Sunday, June 16th at Galliens Town Beach from 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Wednesday, June 26th Veterans Hall from 7:00am- 7:00pm

Gallien's Town Beach is Derry's prime summer location on the corner of Route 102 and Pond Road. GTB is open to Derry Residents and their guests only. Season passes may be obtained at the Parks & Recreation Office Only. Daily passes may also be purchased at the GTB Concession when available. Proof of Derry Residency is required upon purchasing both season passes and daily passes for all ages. Beach Pass fees for the season are as follows:

A small replacement cost is associated with any lost or replacment pass and can only be done at the Recreation Office

Summer beach passes will be available for purchase at the Parks & Recreation Department in May

Normal operating hours during the summer season are 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday through Saturday (weather permitting).  During these hours the waterfront is open for swimming, the concession stand is available for purchasing food and drinks, and the park area is open for picnicking, fishing, and the launching of non-motorized boats. If a lifeguard is not available, a sign will be posted at the guard stand. Kayak and paddle boat rentals are available to patrons for $5.00 - $10.00 per hour when staff levels permit. Cash is accepted and smaller bills and change is greatly appreciated. Check with the on-site supervisor that day when making purchases with larger bills.
